~ The Power Of Our Words ~

Proverbs 18:20-21: 20 A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

We see in this verse that the tongue releases phenomenal power, the power of “life and death”. How we steward this power, is going to determine the course of our lives.

Lets look at what else the word has to say about this power.

Proverbs 12:14: 14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.

This verse says that we are going to be “satisfied with good,” but only if our mouths are bearing the proper fruit. However, If nothing but negative words are coming out of our mouth you will bear the negative results of your negative words.
